# Handling formula text field

## Overview

The Avonni Datatable can handle text formula fields as a column type. This means that users can apply formulas to the text data in the table and display the results as a new column. This feature can be handy for performing calculations or transformations on the text data, such as concatenating or displaying images.

## How to do it?

Select **`Rich Text`** as Data Type when adding a column in the Data Mappings section.
