# Text Collection Get Value

## Overview

This action lets you easily grab a specific text value from a text collection. You can get the first, last, or value at a specific position within the collection.

Imagine you have a collection of product names and want to display the first product in a welcome message. This action allows you to quickly retrieve the first value from the collection without any complicated logic.

## When to Use It

This action is ideal for:

* **Accessing specific values in a text collection.**
* **Retrieving the first, last, or any value by its position.**
* **Simplifying value retrieval without looping or complex formulas.**
* **Working with ordered collections where the position of values matters.**

## Example

To display a notification with the last error message in a collection:

1. **Create a Text Collection:** Have a Text Collection variable containing error messages.
2. **Configure the Action:** Select the error message collection and choose "Last" as the operation.
3. **Display the Value:** Use the action's output to display the last error message in a notification component.

* **Source Collection:** Ensure you have a valid collection of text values.
* **Operation:** Choose the appropriate operation:
